Award winning photographer and film director Joseph Moran began his passion for imagery at the age of 8 when he received a Kodak Instamatic Camera for his birthday.
By the time he turned 16 he was shooting 35mm, 2 1/4 and 4x5 while printing fine art portraits in a basement darkroomfinanced by a part-time job selling shoes at the local mall.
His photographs have appeared in The New York Times, Time,
People, Entertainment Weekly, Fortune, Money, Real Simple,
In Style, Time Out New York, CPA, Wired and Variety, among other national and
international publicationsnot to mention bus kiosks across the greater New York area.
His films (both narrative and documentary) have appeared in film festivals all over the
country, earning awards for directing, acting and general excellence. He received a B.A.
from Sarah Lawrence College, and a M.F.A. from New York University.
